Havas Lynx has shaken up the leadership of its New York team, expanding Claire Knapp’s role to cover the office and hiring Bruno Rebelo to head up its creative division.
The U.K.-based agency established the U.S. outpost in 2022. At that time, Knapp, CEO of Havas Lynx, was overseeing the new U.S. office and Ludmila Crowther was driving day-to-day operations. Havas unveiled a new U.S. leadership team in April 2025, appointing Joanna Ruiz and Megan Skelly as president and chief creative officer, respectively, of Havas Lynx New York.
Sixteen months later, Havas Lynx has again unveiled a new U.S. leadership team. Knapp’s expanded role covers the New York office, which she will oversee while continuing to lead the agency’s U.K. offices in Manchester and London.
The CEO is moving to New York as part of the expansion of her role and will split her time between the U.S. and U.K. Across offices in New York, Manchester and London, Knapp will oversee a 700-strong organization. Dan Rubin, group president, North America at Havas Health Network, explained the reason for expanding Knapp’s role.
“Her strategic vision, entrepreneurial mindset and commitment to leveraging creativity to deliver impact that matters have helped drive the agency's evolution, growth and reputation for excellence,” Rubin said in a statement. “Claire’s leadership, coupled with her passion for innovation and talent development, positions Havas Lynx strongly for its next chapter.”
Rebelo is joining Knapp at the U.S. office as chief creative officer, New York. The executive has joined the agency from Grey Health New York, which hired Rebelo in 2023 and made him chief creative officer last year. Rebelo’s work has been honored by awards including Cannes Lions.
Havas Lynx’s press release about the new roles for Knapp and Rebelo makes no mention of Ruiz and Skelly, the executives it unveiled as the leaders of the New York office last year. Ruiz and Skelly left Havas Lynx New York as a result of the latest leadership changes, MM+M reported.
