Shaquille O'Neal Foundation teams with Sanofi's Icy Hot pain patch for a new Comebaq Court sports facility

Sanofi’s Icy Hot pain patch and the Shaquille O'Neal Foundation have a 20-year history, and there are no signs of either walking off the court as they announce the creation of a new sports facility in the Atlanta area, their largest to date.

Over the past two decades, the pair has partnered up to refurbish courts in Las Vegas, Newark and Miami to give “thousands of local kids in need a welcoming place to play,” they said in a press release, with the program originally set up to refurbish inner-city public basketball courts that are in need of some TLC.

But now they are going bigger, launching a new and full-sized Comebaq Court at the Shaquille O'Neal Boys & Girls Club of Henry County to inspire the next generation of athletes.

This is Shaq and Icy Hot’s largest facility ever, featuring a brand-new multipurpose basketball court, a turf field and a tennis/pickleball court.

“This is a special day because I know firsthand how important the Boys & Girls Club is to our youth and our community,” said Shaquille O'Neal, the NBA legend who is now a sports analyst, in a press release. “This Club is especially near to my heart and home, making this a full circle moment for me that's bigger than sports.”

“This is an exciting moment for Icy Hot and our continued work with The Shaquille O'Neal Foundation to support young athletes,” added Jessica Scholl, portfolio lead for pain and sleep at Sanofi.

“We are dedicated to ensuring the next generation of athletes remain game ready by supporting them where and when they play.”
