Galderma launches new campaign for injectables at PrideFest

Galderma officially kicked off its latest campaign for Restylane injectables at New York City’s PrideFest on Sunday.

Complementing the event's theme of “Unapologetically Us,” Galderma’s “XpresYourself” campaign not only pays tribute to users expressing their individuality, it’s also a subtle nod that unlike other injectables such as Botox, Restylane's XpresHAn technology allows users to maintain natural movement and expressions in their face.

The PrideFest booth provided information about Restylane, Dysport and Sculptra while hosting contests for prizes including consultations with top NYC aesthetic injectors and $200 off Galderma Aesthetics treatments through Galderma ASPIRE Rewards. There were also sponsored live performances including Galderma injectable user, drag queen Izzy Uncut, to launch its XpresYourself influencer program.

While this is the first time Galderma has been at PrideFest, Restylane has been involved with the LGBTQIA+ community for a while. It has promoted fillers as a safe and temporary solution for gender affirming aesthetic treatments before surgery.

“We definitely see [the LGBTQIA+ community] as a wonderful representation of what we're about. Injectables are not a one-size-fits -all approach,” Carrie Caulkins, Galderma’s vice president of U.S. aesthetics marketing, said. “We really want to ensure that whatever your desire may be, we have our products to help you get there. One of the themes of Pride, 'Unapologetically You,' is a very similar mantra [to how] Galderma wants people to approach injectables, unapologetically. So this just really fits the idea about inclusion—that no matter what your goals may be, we can help you get there and you shouldn't be afraid of that.”
