Roche, too, has big plans for improved HQ facilities

Swiss drugmaker Roche ($RHHBY) has plans for a big overhaul of its corporate headquarters. The drugmaker will spend about 3 billion Swiss francs ($3.2 billion) on a renovation that will add new labs and offices and upgrade existing buildings on its Basel, Switzerland, site. Not only will the new and upgraded facilities make for a better working environment for employees, but they will also be designed to be more energy efficient and thus easier on the natural environment. The project comes as a number of other drugmakers have their own corporate upgrades in the works. Story | More
