Merck ($MRK) is launching a diabetes education campaign, and it's taking a lead from some of its Big Pharma peers. Following in the footsteps of companies that have enlisted celebrities as diabetes spokespeople--Novo Nordisk ($NVO), for one, memorably signed on Paula Deen to help promote Victoza--the New Jersey-based pharma has recruited actress S.
