Nominations for the 2023 Fiercest Women in Life Sciences close SOON—last day to enter

Nominations for the 2023 Fiercest Women in Life Sciences are closing today, Sept. 29, at 11:59 p.m. ET. Submit your nominees at the form below!

Every year, the teams at Fierce Pharma, Fierce Biotech and Fierce Medtech compile lists of the highest-paid executives in their respective fields, and every year, those lists remain woefully low on gender or racial diversity—if there’s any at all.

The most recent crop of high-roller round-ups, representing some of the most powerful people in life sciences, was no different: Between the 30 highest-paid medtech and biopharma CEOs and R&D executives, there were exactly zero women, but five Michaels and four Stevens—with more diversity among the various spellings of their names than their races and genders.

To counteract that lackluster showing at the highest levels of the industry, we’ve made a habit of celebrating the fiercest women in life sciences in a dedicated list of their own every year. This time around, we’ll be spotlighting 10 women who are paving new paths across life sciences and making a point of mentoring others along the way.

Nominations are now open for this year’s list; you can submit your nominees in the form below or at the link here. The form will be open through Friday, Sept. 29, and our list of the fiercest women in life sciences will go live in November.

We’re looking for women with strong track records of leadership and innovation in organizations of all sizes; across pharma, biotech and medtech; and with roles spanning industry, academia, venture capital and beyond. For an idea of what we’re looking for—and a healthy dose of inspiration—take a look at our lists from 2022, 2021 and 2020.
