We're looking for 2022's Fiercest Women in Life Sciences—closes this week

Editor's Note: 5 days left to nominate the Fiercest Women in Life Sciences!

We wish we could open our 2022 call for Fiercest Women in Life Sciences nominations with an update that, since last year, more women had broken the glass ceiling that is the CEO chair, but we can’t.

Emma Walmsley is holding strong at GSK, despite pressure from investors over the past year. Reshma Kewalramani, M.D., is still leading the charge at Vertex Pharmaceuticals. But we haven't seen much change at the highest levels of biopharma, even as a number of high-profile men stepped down from chief medical officer or scientific roles over the past year. Will women take their place? We'd love to see it happen.

Nevertheless, we are putting out the call for inspiring women across life sciences who may someday get there or those making a lasting impact on the industry in other ways.

Each year at Fierce, we spotlight women who are leading the way in life sciences. From industry professionals and academics to venture capitalists and regulatory officials, women are making their mark all over biotech, pharma and medtech. And we want to know about them.

We invite you to share your nominations using the form below. We’re looking for women in all three fields who stand out as leaders, innovators and mentors in organizations big and small.

Be sure to submit your nominations by 11:59 p.m. EDT on Friday, Aug. 26, for consideration in this year’s list, which will be published in November. To get an idea of what we’re looking for, check out last year's list or 2020’s and 2019’s
