Tunnell Consulting Forms Strategic Alliance With Ireland-Based Campbell Informatics -- Firms to provide enhanced solutions to life sciences organizations globally

KING OF PRUSSIA, PA, September 15, 2010 -- Tunnell Consulting, Inc. announced today that it has entered into a strategic alliance with Campbell Informatics, an integrated services and technology company based in Cork, Ireland. The alliance of Tunnell, a leading life sciences industry consultancy, and Campbell, a provider of data-driven compliance solutions to life sciences manufacturers, suppliers and regulators, is designed to enable both companies to serve their clients globally.

"This is a winning combination for Tunnell Consulting and for Campbell Informatics, but most of all for the international clients of both," said Conrad J. Heilman, Ph.D., Chairman and CEO of Tunnell. "Together we will be able to deliver even more powerful and specialized solutions to life sciences organizations in Europe and North America."

The alliance will join Tunnell's comprehensive strategic, operational and technical services with Campbell's technical compliance services and more than 20 years of experience in life sciences informatics. Together they will provide resources for consulting engagements in the U.S. and Europe focused on operational improvement, quality and regulatory compliance, technology transfer, and outsourced functional support.

"The alliance with Tunnell will enable us to enhance our mission of bringing efficiency, agility and flexibility into pharmaceutical quality and compliance processes," said Cliff Campbell, founder of Campbell Informatics. "At a time when manufacturers and regulators alike are moving rapidly toward risk-based compliance and designed-in quality, we think the combined capabilities of the two companies offer clients powerful advantages."

Campbell Informatics, the developer of Avenio, an automated platform designed to unify and streamline the often cumbersome and error-prone compliance and quality life cycle, is a recognized driver of 21st Century Compliance and has been a consultant to the FDA's Office of Pharmaceutical Science, recently completing a 12-month assignment on Assessing Risks of Changing Sterile Drug Manufacturing Sites. Tunnell Consulting, based in King-of-Prussia, PA, has been consulting to the pharmaceutical industry and government agencies for nearly 50 years.
