Asthmanefrin will provide relief for millions of former Primatene® Mist users. The Primatene® Mist CFC inhaler was removed from the market by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) on Dec. 31, 2011. The inhaler was discontinued because of its CFC propellant. Asthmanefrin does not contain CFCs or preservatives.
