Health care company’s RightSourcesmmail and specialty pharmacy operations expanding to meet demand
CINCINNATI--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Humana Inc. (NYSE: HUM) today announced plans to place 650 associates – 200 of those jobs new to Greater Cincinnati – in a newly leased 175,000-square-foot office space at the Executive Centre office complex in Springdale, Ohio by December 2012.
The move is part of Humana’s expanding RightSource mail and specialty pharmacy operations. The new offices will be Humana’s third location in Greater Cincinnati, with a regional headquarters and customer service center located in East Walnut Hills and a RightSource mail order pharmacy distribution center in West Chester.

Alan Martin, general manager of RightSource operations in Ohio, said that the company expects to begin occupying the new office space later this year with about 200 Humana associates scheduled to move in by spring 2012, and another roughly 450 associates moving in by the end of 2012. With the new Springdale office space, Martin expects Humana’s total RightSource employee count in Greater Cincinnati to grow to 1,200 in the next two years, bringing Humana’s overall Greater Cincinnati employment level to 1,800.
RightSource is Humana’s prescription home-delivery service. The convenience of mail-order delivery and continued growth of Humana’s Medicare health plan membership have created increasing demand for RightSource’s services, resulting in the need for the new facility in Springdale.
RightSource – with operations in Ohio and Arizona – serves approximately 800,000 Humana Medicare and commercial health plan members in all 50 states, making it one of the nation’s largest pharmacy benefit managers.
