Former Google Head of Healthcare leads M3's new European digital services for pharma

London: M3 inc (Japan: 2413), the global provider of technology services in healthcare, has launched a European division. The company, which acquired Doctors.net.uk in August 2011, has grown rapidly to become the world's largest network of physicians with reach to more than 2.5 million physicians in Asia, US, Europe and emerging markets.

M3's European division operates Doctors.net.uk, MDLinx (Europe), Networks in Health, medeConnect and the M3 Global Research Panel, and offers a wide range of digital services including educational campaigns, promotional programmes and market research.

To support the launch of M3 in Europe and the company's ambitious growth plans, Jenny Cowderoy, former Industry Head, Healthcare, at Google, has been appointed Managing Director of Communications for M3 Europe.

In her role at Google, Jenny was responsible for thought leadership, business strategy and sales growth, and managed a portfolio of healthcare and FMCG clients including GSK, Novartis, Weightwatchers and Boots.com. Prior to Google, she was Director, Global Marketing for GlaxoSmithKline, where she acted as a digital strategy adviser to the Executive and global marketing teams.
