SINGAPORE--Taiwan-based ACT Genomics has raised $8 million in its first round of private funding, the company said last week, highlighting its aim to implement next generation sequencing and multiplex molecular testing platforms to analyze a variety of clinical specimens.
The funding will support the further investment in ACT Genomics' new portfolio of molecular diagnostic assays that can help physicians address issues in cancer monitoring as well as the expansion of sales, marketing and medical teams, the company said in a statement.
