FormPipe Software receives a SEK 2.5 million order from Recipharm

Recipharm has signed an agreement on the EQMS (Electronic Quality Management System) product FormPipe Life Science to streamline multiple quality and compliance processes. The total order value amounts to 2.5 million SEK to FormPipe Software.
Recipharm is a leading contract development and manufacturing organisation (CDMO) employing some 1,700 employees. The scope of this order includes four of the ten subsidiaries in the Recipharm Group and the implementation will be delivered by FormPipe Software's partner Sigma.
"We believe that implementing FormPipe Life Science will drive efficiency in our operations by simplifying the processes for documentation and case management, which will add value to our customers", says Staffan Widengren, General Manager of Recipharm Strängnäs.
In the pharmaceutical industry quality control is rigorous and concerns all parts of the organization, from research and development to manufacturing and distribution of drugs. Work within production and quality are being controlled by the pharmaceutical industry's stringent quality standards and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP). National drug authorities carry out inspections to ensure the compliance with GMP. Dealing with highly regulated processes also puts high demands on the IT support which must live up to these same high GMP requirements.
