Here's a twist: Generics maker Teva Pharmaceutical Industries is suing rival Apotex for patent infringement. Teva says it owns patents that cover processes for making carvedilol, the active ingredient in GlaxoSmithKline's Coreg, so Apotex shouldn't be allowed to launch its version of the drug. Report
