SPOTLIGHT: Counterfeit drugs plaguing Big Pharma
Prescription drug counterfeiters are plaguing Big Pharma, flooding the market with cheap copies that don't work and can be dangerous. According to a study released today by the MarkMonitor brand consulting firm, more than 7,000 online retail pharmacies together bring down several billions in annual sales, and only a handful of them are certified as they claim. Wholesalers of counterfeit drugs also operate online, the study found. Report
