Roche still confident on Ventana buyout
Does he know something we don't? Roche CEO Franz Humer says he's "very confident" that the company's $3 billion takeover bid for Ventana will be accepted.
Humer also told the Financial Times today that hedge funds have bought out Ventana's leading shareholders. And he has "no intention" of increasing the value of Roche's tender offer, despite the fact that the $75 buyout price is less than Ventana's current stock price.
