In this report, Natural Language Processing (NLP) is also used to mine data previously inaccessible in many EHR and clinical registry data sets, including information related to left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF).  Through NLP, this typically inaccessible clinical patient data entered into the EHR as free text can be turned into actional clinical insights.
