Beyond Competitive Intelligence: Predicting Commercial Success Earlier in Drug Development

ET
60 Minutes
Pharma companies spend significant time and resources monitoring competitors and analyzing what has already happened in the market. But in today's increasingly competitive landscape, understanding the past is no longer enough. Organizations need to evaluate not only whether an asset can succeed clinically, but also whether it can succeed commercially.

Commercial considerations often enter the conversation too late, after critical decisions around trial design, patient populations, and differentiation have already been made. This webinar explores how predictive competitive positioning can help organizations get ahead of commercial success by bringing commercial considerations into development decision-making earlier.

Attendees will learn how to:
  • Move beyond traditional competitive intelligence and incorporate predictive insights into decision-making
  • Evaluate future market opportunity and competitive differentiation earlier in the development process
  • Better connect clinical development and commercial strategy
  • Assess both trial success and future commercial viability before critical milestones are reached
  • Make more informed development, portfolio, and investment decisions in increasingly crowded therapeutic markets

Dr. Francisco Beca

Dr. Beca is executive physician-scientist and drug developer focused on advancing clinical trial architecture through predictive analytics. Having driven large global registration trials for advanced therapeutics and ADCs, his work centers on augmenting decision-making capabilities in clinical development—leveraging predictive insights to optimize protocol design, incorporate competitive landscape intelligence, and maximize the absolute Probability of Success (PoS).

Following a central role driving global oncology development and registration trials at Merck and Seagen, I joined QuantHealth as Chief Medical Officer. Our focus is centered on fundamental trial architecture and predictive optimization. By evaluating comprehensive trial designs and modeling competitive landscapes prior to clinical entry, we enable biopharma partners to systematically de-risk development by strategically optimize endpoints, and maximize PoS.
