Patrick is CIO and  Senior Vice President of Digital Transformation and IT Pharma at Bayer. With a profound expertise spanning over 12 years within Bayer, Patrick plays  a pivotal role in spearheading all IT and Digital initiatives across  Pharma value chain, from strategy inception to operational excellence. His responsibilities extend to overseeing end-to-end program steering and delivery, budget allocation across key executive areas, and chairing the Pharma Digital Council and several AI initatives.
Patrick's career trajectory is marked by a seamless transition from his previous role at BASF to Bayer, where he has flourished for over 19 years with experience in preparation, implementation and monitoring of pricing strategies and pricing framework. Patrick's journey within Bayer reflects a diverse spectrum of experiences, ranging from product supply and R&D to digital innovation and pricing management. His adeptness in steering large teams, currently managing a multimillion-dollar team of 600 individuals, underscores his exceptional leadership and management prowess.

Thorsten Rall

Thorsten Rall is Executive Vice President and Global Industry Lead for Life Sciences at Capgemini. With over 15 years of experience in the life sciences sector, Thorsten is responsible for shaping and executing Capgemini’s global strategy in this space. He works closely with leading pharmaceutical and biotech companies to drive business transformation through data, artificial intelligence, and scalable technology solutions - aimed at delivering sustainable impact and improving patient care worldwide. In this role he also is the global sponsor of the global next generation engagement vertical in Life Sciences. Prior to joining Capgemini, Thorsten held several senior leadership roles at Novartis, including Senior Vice President of Digital Transformation & Innovation. There, he led strategic innovation initiatives, oversaw digital partnerships, and spearheaded high-impact programs across the organization including in the area of HCP engagement and patient services and solutions.

Suhail Alam

Suhail Alam is an executive leader at the intersection of Commercial Strategy and Data Science. He currently serves as the Global Head of Data, Analytics, AI, and Marketing Technology for Global Pharma Strategy at Roche.
Prior to his current role, Suhail held multiple leadership positions in Data, AI, and Insights for Novartis, both in the US and globally. In this capacity, he was responsible for shaping the data strategy and executing AI innovation to drive modern commercial operations and precision customer engagement.
He also served as Vice President of Global Commercial Operations. In this critical role, he led a 1,500-member organization across the US, Europe, and India, overseeing global field operations, insights, AI, and digital marketing. This extensive operational background allows him to bridge the gap between abstract data strategies and the practical realities of HCP engagement and commercial execution.
His career spans the entire product lifecycle, having also served as a Worldwide Marketing Lead and Global Program Head, where he launched products in the Rheumatology, Cardiovascular, and Respiratory spaces.
He has led cross-functional global program teams spanning commercial, medical, access, and regulatory functions, providing him with a complete overview of the product life cycle. This deep business experience allows him to view the Pharma value chain through the lens of Data and AI, focusing on innovations that not only optimize business processes but also unlock tangible patient outcomes.
