Charmeil named Sanofi vaccines head

Sanofi-Aventis has named Olivier Charmeil as its new senior VP of vaccines. Charmeil previously covered the Asia-Pacific and Japan regions in the company's pharmaceutical division, which Sanofi CEO Christopher Viehbacher says is an asset to vaccines, as it focuses on emerging markets.
