Pfizer ($PFE) has opened an expanded product technology laboratory at its Ringaskiddy, County Cork, facility. The company has invested about $30 million in the lab, Business World reports. The expanded lab permits Pfizer to make drugs under development for clinical trials. An investment in Ireland from Pfizer is welcome, given that the drugmaker has cut back on manufacturing there.
