NeoStem, the New York-based developer and manufacturer of cell therapies, will pick up another California plant with its all-stock acquisition of California Stem Cell (CSC), which it announced this week. NeoStem's contract manufacturing operation, Progenitor Cell Therapy, already has plants in Allendale, NJ, and Mountain View, CA, while target CSC has a plant in Irvine, CA, where it is based. The company said that adding CSC's development pipeline and its manufacturing expertise will help NeoStem reach its goals. Release
