Germany's Aenova has been in expansion mode. It pumped up production capacity with its acquisition last year of contract manufacturer Haupt Pharma and has now bought a U.S. company to help it boost its packaging capabilities. Aenova has acquired Greensboro, NC-based Contract Packaging Resources. Terms were not provided, but Aenova said it has picked up an 80,000-square-foot packaging facility with 100 employees, Contract Pharma reports. The operation is both FDA and DEA registered and does packaging for prescription, over-the-counter and nutritional products in common dosage forms. Story
