Republicans back generic industry's fight against FDA labeling rule

Two Republican lawmakers are supporting the generic industry's fight against the FDA's proposed rule on product labeling. The change would allow copycat drugmakers to update drug labels with new safety information. Now, generics makers can only change drug labeling if the branded drugmaker does first.
