Janssen and West make self-injection easier

Injecting yourself with drugs every day isn't easy, and Janssen Biotech has signed a collaboration deal with West Pharmaceutical Services ($WST) to make self-injection of drugs simpler and more reliable. The SelfDose system, designed by Janssen Biotech, will be co-developed and marketed by West. Donald E. Morel Jr., West's chairman and CEO, said: "We are delighted to have formalized our relationship with Janssen Biotech around this drug delivery platform and look forward to working together to commercialize the SelfDose injection technology, providing manufacturing, development and regulatory support through the remainder of the process."
