Denver cannabis seller teams with vet to launch pet wellness line

The legalization of marijuana for medical and recreational use in a growing number of states like Colorado has brought plenty of controversy. But that's not stopping one Denver company from bringing its line of cannabis-based health products to the veterinary world. The company, Dixie Brands, announced it is teaming up with Arizona-based entrepreneur and veterinarian Stephan Katz to launch Therabis, a line of pet wellness products to treat separation anxiety, itching and other common conditions. Therabis will be undergoing clinical trials at the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine and other clinics, the company says. Release
