Additional executives take on greater leadership roles at top-performing company

SALT LAKE CITY, Aug. 1, 2012 /PRNewswire/ --  USANA Health Sciences, Inc. "USANA has experienced consistent growth over the years," said Dave Wentz, USANA's chief executive officer. "Each of these executives has played a key role in developing the company's overall direction and ensuring our continued success in uncertain economic times."

With nearly 20 years of experience in operations management, Jim Brown has been with USANA for more than six years, implementing critical improvements to the company's manufacturing and quality control as its vice president of global operations. Chief Communications Officer Dan Macuga will now also be responsible for growing USANA in North America by absorbing the company's North American field development department, an element vital to USANA's success.

"We announced these promotions at our quarterly meeting yesterday and they were met with great excitement, along with news that sales are up, earnings have increased and our performance is strong in the North American, Europe and Asia-Pacific regions," said Doug Hekking, USANA's chief financial officer.
