Sebelius also stated, "One of the most important goals of the law [Affordable Care Act] is to strengthen and improve Medicare's preventative care.  Too many seniors go without care and don't realize these services are available at no charge. The best way to keep health care costs down is to keep people healthy in the first place."

ProMed Alliance is pioneering complex integrated care for at risk patients. "Our unique Integrated Care Team supported by our propriety Medical Enterprise Operating System offers a single point of contact, unified record keeping and accountability. This collaborative care and access to the Patient's entire care team, using the same advanced EMR, will lead to better patient outcomes. The ICT will focus on preventive and patient-centered care," says Willis Hale, CEO.

Sebelius recently started an educational tour in Florida on preventive health care.  Sebelius has been spreading the word about the new Medicare benefits and services available to seniors under the Affordable Care Act.  Sebelius said, "The more preventative care seniors get, the healthier they will be and the lower their health care costs and the strain on the health care system."

"We agree and view keeping people healthy as an investment, reducing overall health care costs, and showing a demonstrable return on that investment," says Hale.
