Pacira Receives Subpoena from the U.S. Department of Justice

PARSIPPANY, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Apr. 16, 2015-- Pacira Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (NASDAQ: PCRX) today announced that it received a subpoena from the U.S. Department of Justice, U.S. Attorney's Office for the District of New Jersey, requiring the production of a broad range of documents pertaining to marketing and promotional practices related to the product EXPAREL® (bupivacaine liposome injectable suspension). Pacira intends to cooperate with the government's investigation.
