CHICAGO, Aug. 15, 2012 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The Defense Health Board will meet August 22nd in the Winnetka Ballroom of the Renaissance Chicago North Shore Hotel, 933 Skokie Boulevard, Northbrook, Illinois. Briefings and discussions will take place from 9:00 am to 12:30 pm, with one intermission. Registration will start at 8:30 am. These briefings will be open to the public in accordance with Federal Advisory Committee Act provisions. Attendees should register via the Board's website in advance of the meeting (www.health.mil/dhb).
The Board will receive update briefings from the Obesity Work Group and the Categorizing Biological Agents Work Group; they will receive an update briefing and then discuss and vote on the issue of supraglottic airways. Additionally, the Board will receive information briefs on the Military Health System governance and DoD-VA research collaboration efforts on Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder and Traumatic Brain Disorder.
