AstraZeneca is investing in the development of computer systems to predict the safety and efficacy of new treatments at a planned Russian operation in St. Petersburg. The Predictive Science Centre, the latest in the London-based drug giant's series of projects in Russia, is expected to tap local talent to create the bioinformatics, data analytics and other tools needed for the new effort.
