India's Lupin launched a generic drug tablet in the U.S. combining hypertension drugs Amlodipine and Valsartan tablets.The drug is a generic version of Novartis AG's Exforge tablets, Lupin said. The U.S. Food and Drug Administration approved the combination earlier this year to treat hypertension and to lower blood pressure. Exforge tablets had U.S. sales of $414.9 million in 2014, according to IMS Healthcare. Release
