A 30-member delegation of drugmaker members of India's Pharmaceuticals Export Promotion Council (Pharmexcil) is in the middle of a four-day trade visit to the Philippines and then on to Cambodia and Vietnam.
The Pharmexcil group planned to meet with counterparts and related businesses such as distributors and local importers in all three countries, demonstrate their own wares and discuss possible partnerships.
India's ambassador to the Philippines said the exporting drugmakers would focus on active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs) as well as their herbal medicines, the Manila Times said.
