Dutch firm gets Fox Foundation funding for PD tech

Dutch drug delivery outfit to-BBB is getting bankrolled by The Michael J. Fox Foundation to support the development of 2B3-201, a drug designed to treat neuroinflammation associated with Parkinson's disease, Genetic Engineering & Biotechnology News reports. The drug uses to-BBB's G-Technology delivery platform, which gets molecules across the blood-brain barrier using drug-loaded liposomes coated with glutathione-conjugated PEG. Report
