Scientists from AACR Annual Meeting to Participate in ABC News Twitter Chat on Personalized Medicine, Latest Cancer Research Breakthroughs

The American Association for Cancer Research officers Charles Sawyers, M.D., and Scott Lowe, Ph.D., will be tweeting during the ABC News Twitter chat tomorrowApril 8, from 1-2 p.m. ET on the latest advances in cancer research, including personalized medicine, immunology and genomics. The Twitter chat will be moderated by ABC News Medical Editor Richard Besser, M.D. 

In addition to their leadership roles at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York, Sawyers is president of the American Association for Cancer Research and Lowe is program chairperson of the AACR Annual Meeting 2014. They will join a panel of other AACR members at the AACR Annual Meeting 2014, where the latest and most exciting basic, translational, and clinical discoveries in cancer research are presented to more than 18,000 attendees.
