Abbott Labs has added an item to the Similac baby formula recall list: the 22-ounce Go & Grow Milk Early Shield Powder, the Christian Science Monitor reported yesterday. The original list, published with last week's recall, contains more than 2,000 lot numbers for 5 million containers. The recall follows the discovery of beetle parts and larvae in test samples. A separate report says Saudi Arabia plans to ban plastic and metallic cans of the powdered formula. Report | Story
