Recession shines light on inventory

Reducing inventory is the top action manufacturers have taken in response to the recession, as reported by more than half of respondents to a survey. Findings in the Aberdeen study show that 91 percent of companies indicate that they are reviewing opportunities to improve inventory performance through process change.
