Execs at Noblis and EXP Pharmaceutical Services are upping the ante in healthcare product recall management. They're teaming on a solution for managing, tracking and disposing of recalled materials.
Noblis's web-based RASMAS recall management service provides notification, distribution and management of alerts and recalls for products used in healthcare facilities. EXP provides services for the return and destruction of expired and recalled drugs.
Their timing is good, even if perhaps a bit late. The FDA reported more than 1,742 recalls last year, up from just 426 in 2008.
