Sun Pharma Advanced Research, the research arm of India's top drug firm Sun Pharmaceuticals, said Wednesday it received U.S. Food and Drug Administration approval to market its epilepsy drug, EPILEPSIA (levetiracetam), in the United States.
The product will be manufactured by generic drug maker and parent Sun Pharmaceutical Industries at its Halol plant in the western Indian state of Gujarat, according to a statement by Sun Pharma Advanced Research.
