India considers drug-inspector job requirements

A high court in India has provisionally ruled that petitioning candidates for the post of drug inspector may interview. Kuldeep Singh and 17 others asked the court to overturn a list of strict experience requirements developed by a public service commission. Still to be decided is whether those requirements, which specifically concern controlled drugs, represent a restriction for inspectors lacking that experience or rather are an integral drug-inspector job requirement. Story
