Gang poses online as carrier, steals shipments

The Pharmaceutical Cargo Security Consortium warns drugmakers of an organized crime gang using fake driver's IDs to establish a phony trucking company on online brokering sites. The thieves pose as legitimate carriers on the sites and then book business with shippers, subsequently stealing the shipments. Two of eight such incidents, occurring in areas including Florida, Ohio, Indiana and Los Angeles involved pharmaceuticals.  Story
