China may lead in global API manufacturing, but it wants to move up the food chain and has been enticing Indian scientists with big pay packages to get formulation expertise. The Economic Times reports that Chinese drugmakers are offering up to three times the going rate to get Indian scientists who have both formulation and English language skills.
