Biosimilar manufacturers form group to influence market in U.S.

Nearly a dozen makers of biosimilars, including Hospira ($HSP), Pfizer ($PFE), Samsung and Sandoz, have banded together into the Biosimilars Forum, a nonprofit group that will lobby for how biosimilars are used in the U.S. The move comes as the FDA has a number of biosimilars under consideration, approvals of which will start biosimilar use in the U.S. Release
