Anvisa suspends import of inputs Indian company Lupin Limited
May 13, 2015 - Anvisa suspended imports of all beta-lactam cephalosporin pharmaceutical ingredients and all imported drugs that were manufactured using these inputs, which are manufactured by the Indian company Lupin Limited.
Analysis considered unsatisfactory inputs. Furthermore, irregularities were detected during the inspection for verification of Good Manufacturing Practices.
The measure is in Resolution No. 1430, published on Wednesday (13/5) in the Official Gazette (DOU).
