Alcon taps Zenith for automation

Global eye care company Alcon has selected Zenith Technologies of Cork, Ireland, to automate a new plant in Singapore. Zenith will design, test and commission a real-time process control system using PLC/SCADA technology, allowing for supervisory monitoring and automated manufacturing control. Zenith was set up in 1998 and is a so-called scaling client of Enterprise Ireland, one that has potential to grow rapidly and achieve global scale. Announcement
