Abbott ($ABT) will try to ensure its future with aging baby boomers by building a $270 million manufacturing plant in Tipp City, OH, to make its Ensure and Glucerna nutritional shakes. Construction will begin in April, with completion slated for 2013. The manufacturing facility will employ an estimated 240 workers and use aseptic packaging technology, thus providing increased energy efficiency. The company said it projects its nutrition business to grow to $9 billion in sales in 2015 from $6 billion currently. Abbott release
