UCB sells off Rochester plant; buyer to keep 300 workers

The Belgian drugmaker UCB agreed to sell a plant in Rochester, NY, as it restructures its manufacturing operations to rely more on contract drugmakers. The sale to France-based Unither includes a 6-year supply deal, and the buyer plans to keep UCB's 250 employees and 50 contract workers. Report
