Merck slashes 280 more Irish jobs in cost-cutting effort

Merck's ($MRK) manufacturing overhaul is forcing job cuts at another Irish plant. A few months after announcing a 20% payroll cut in Brinny, the company is planning to shut down a plant in Rathdrum that employs some 280 people. Report
