Dr. Reddy's Laboratories ($RDY) plans to expand in the U.S. and emerging markets this year and wants investors and customers to know it's also ready to sport a new look.

Earlier this week, the Hyderabad, India-based company launched a new visual identity and brand slogan, "Good Health Can't Wait," along with a new logo and corporate color scheme.
In the same week, according to Hans India, Dr. Reddy's said in its annual report that the year started April 1 should be a winner, citing the company's 2014-15 annual report, and its top executive.
"I look forward to an even better year in FY16," Satish Reddy, chairman of Dr. Reddy's, said in the release of the report, according to Hans India. "A year when we will introduce new formulations, maintain best-in-class globally certified scientific, technological and manufacturing facilities, and remain both strategic and nimble in providing complex medicines to meet critical therapeutic needs."
The company has also chosen a new corporate color, purple, which it says is associated "with creativity and wisdom."
"Overall, the new identity speaks of Dr. Reddy's constant endeavor to understand the unmet and under-met needs of patients, and the swift action to solve them," the company said in a press release, adding that once it meets all regulatory requirements, the new identity will appear on all company product packaging.
