Fort Worth, Texas (November 30, 2015) – Virbac Corporation is pleased to welcome Dr. Cristiano von Simson to the team, where he will fill the role of Director of Field Technical Services, reporting to Robert Daily, Vice President of Marketing & Technical Services.
A São Paulo, Brazil native, Cristiano received his doctorate in veterinary medicine from the University of São Paulo, and his MBA from Fundação Getulio Vargas, also in São Paulo. He brings to the company over 20 years of experience in animal health, including having a successful equine practice in Brazil.
Before joining Virbac, Cristiano worked at Rhone-Merieux, where he helped launch their companion animal business. From there he transitioned to Merial for 14 years in marketing and technical roles of increasing responsibility, and then joined Bayer Animal Health as Director of Veterinary Services, managing field veterinarians, marketing support functions and the pharmacovigilance team.
